Christopher Anthony Wright

Christopher Anthony Wright, 65, of Parrish, Florida, peacefully passed away on April 24, 2026. Born in Akron, Ohio, he was the son of the late Anthony Harlow and Jeanne Rae Wright.

Christopher was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who would never miss a phone call to catch up. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Amy Wright, whose loss he carried deeply in the years that followed.

He worked at Burley Datsun, where he met Amy, later served for Summit County and Springfield Township, and eventually became a self-employed contractor. He was known throughout his life as a hardworking man who made lifelong friends with his co-workers and neighbors.

Christopher’s greatest joy was collecting guitars and playing them loudly whenever he could. With his love of classic rock and admiration for legendary guitarists, he earned the nickname “Eddie Van Wright” from the postal carriers who regularly delivered his Guitar World magazines.

He is survived by his children, Jessica Herrold and her husband Jim, Alex Wright and his wife Lisa, and Thomas Wright and his wife Maria; five grandchildren, Matilda and Madeline Herrold, Jack and Henry Wright, and Penelope Wright; his brother, Gregg Wright and his wife Rachel; and his sister, Lisa Wright.

He will be greatly missed.

We were so sorry to hear of your father’s passing. Your parents were such good neighbors when we lived in CBE. Your dad was always there to lend a helping hand whenever needed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you.

A great friend and neighbor. I saw him at his home earlier this year.
