Elizabeth Owens

Elizabeth “Betty” Owens, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. betty lived a life defines by devotion to those she loved, kindness to everyone she met and a strength that carried her family through generations.

Betty was preceded in death by her cherished husband, William Ray Owens, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, companionship, and treasured memories. Though they are no longer with us, their legacy lives on through the family they built together.

She leaves behind her loving children: daughter Christine Rose and son-in-law John Rose; son John Lardner and daughter-in-law Cindy Lardner; son Brent Owens and daughter-in-law Kara Owens; and son Gaven Owens and daughter-in-law Jillian Owens.

Betty was a proud and devoted grandmother who found tremendous joy in her grandchildren: Connor, Charles, and Audrey Lardner; Myles and Scarlette Owens; and Genieve, Hudson, and Evelyn Owens. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

She is also survived by her beloved brothers and sisters: Lynda, Denise, Phylis, Edward, Danny, Kevin, and Joseph, along with their children, extended family members, cousins, and countless friends whose lives were touched by her warmth and generosity.

Betty’s greatest gift was her ability to make everyone feel welcome. loved. and seen. Whether gathering family around the table, offering a listening ear, or sharing stories and laughter. She created lasting memories that her family and friends will carry with them forever. Her steadfast love, gentle spirit, and caring heart will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in knowing that Betty’s love lives on in her children. grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins. and dear friends. She leaves behind a beautiful family legacy and countless cherished memories that will never fade.

Betty will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

A memorial service in the near future,  will be held for family in Indiana.
