James “Garret” Hutchinson, born to Rhonda and James Hutchinson on January 10, 1981 in Lakeland, FL, returned to his eternal home on July 12, 2025. As a core pillar of the Hutchinson family, Garret had the uncanny ability to unite his siblings, cousins, and parents in love despite hardships unlike any one of his other family members. His unique and rare talent for making others laugh until their sides split have left his loved ones with memories that can never be matched. He did everything from serving his community as a chef to expanding his skills as a heavy machine operator. There was truly nothing he couldn’t do, and that grit was a quality seldom found in this world today. He was a son, a brother, a cousin, and a father. He is survived by his three children, Jessie James(18), Vassilios(10), and Victoria(8). His remaining family members include his siblings Jennifer and Phillip, his cousins who loved him unrelentingly, and his two parents who cherished him. While alive, he was iconic. In death, he will remain legendary. Everyone united in the decision to have him cremated so he may rest where he was loved best: with his family.
