With profound love and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Lutgarda López, a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister and cherished matriarch of her family. Lutgarda’s life was a beautiful reflection of unconditional love, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear.

Above all else, Lutgarda was a loving and devoted mother. Her children were her greatest pride and purpose. She gave selflessly, prayed faithfully, and loved endlessly. Her home was always a place of warmth, comfort, and open arms, where meals were shared, stories were told, and love was felt in every corner.

She is predeceased by her beloved daughter, Elizabeth Rivera, whom she carried in her heart every single day.

She leaves behind her loving daughters, Maria Rivera (Edwin Sr.) and Gladys López, who will forever honor her legacy of strength, resilience, and compassion.

She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren: Edwin Quinones Jr. , Marc Quinones, Maria Davis (Mike), Marcelino Quinones, Luis Colon lll, and Marylee Colon

Her treasured great-grandchildren: Caleb Davis, Marcelo Colon, & Veliza Colon. 

As well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who were blessed by her kindness and gentle spirit.

Lutgarda’s legacy lives on in the generations she nurtured, the faith she instilled, and the love she poured so freely into her family. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that her love will remain with us always guiding us, comforting us, and reminding us of the beautiful example she set.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
