William S. Evans Jr. (“Bill” or “Willie”), 73, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2026, with his two daughters by his side.

William was born in 1952, in New York to Mary and William Evans. He most recently resided in Sun City Center, Florida.

Bill had a love for comic books, science fiction, horror, and astrology. He also enjoyed spending time relaxing in bed watching his favorite television shows and listening to music. Those who knew him will remember his kind heart, his ability to listen without judgment, and his easygoing nature that made people feel comfortable around him.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita Evans; his daughters, Alicia Lunny and Jessica Evans; his grandchildren, Jennifer Lunny, Robert Drake, Cherish Drake, and Christopher Drake; and his great-grandchildren, Robert “B” Drake, Derrick Straining III, Alexandria Straining, and Mateo Torres. He is also survived by his nephew, Vincent Dunn, and his nieces, Tina-Marie Garay, Mandi Dunn, and Amanda Dunn.

William was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and William Evans; his sister, Marlena Garay; and his brother, Vincent F. Evans.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

He will be deeply missed and always remembered for his gentle spirit and the love he shared with his family.
